Hand drawn in fine liner pen, Willow’s Garden was originally created by the Liberty studio in 2009. Inspired by a section of a garden photograph, this wild sea of daisies creates a stylised allover repeat, brimming with live and buoyancy. The dense trailing stems and leaves are a subtle nod to William Morris’s famous ‘Willow’ wallpaper.
Emma Chichester Clark ; who was taught by Quentin Blake; has illustrated numerous book jackets leading her to win the 'Mother Goose Award' in 1998 for the most exciting newcomer to children's book illustration. Discover her designs Plum Dog and Willow's Garden the Storybook Collection.
Liberty's Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in their very own Liberty Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.
